Local Baltimore photographer, Kianna Wilson, documented Saturday's protest in Baltimore, one of the many cities where demonstrations are taking place in response to George Floyd's death at the hands of the Minneapolis police. Wilson has been taking photos for the past decade and freelancing since 2016. "I love to capture emotion. Every photo I take, I want it to tell a story, or I want someone to feel something," the 26-year-old said. Being a Black, gay woman, Wilson said it was important to her to be there and not only take photos but also protest the mistreatment of Black people by police.
