The newly-dedicated American Airlines plane, Flagship Valor, is greeted by water cannons upon arriving on the tarmac at BWI Thurgood Marshall Airport. The Honor Flight Network flight has more than 100 veterans from the Phoenix, AZ area on board. The veterans will attend a ceremony at the World War II Memorial in Washington, D.C. tomorrow to kickoff Military Appreciation Month, and to honor the milestone of bringing 250,000 Honor Flight veterans to the nation’s Capitol to visit the memorials that honor their service.
