The Mountain Club of Maryland conducts hikes, overnight and camping trips and maintains trails.

Sat., Aug. 6, Patapsco Valley State Park: A 6.5-mile hike with 950 feet of cumulative ascent and three minor stream crossings. 410-750-8512.
