Easter is just around the corner, and our neighborhood associations are again holding Easter egg hunts for the little ones.

This weekend the Easter Bunny will be hiding eggs for the children in Orchard Hills, Longford and York Manor on Saturday, March 31, and on Sunday, April 1, for the Lutherville Community Association.

Children in the Lutherville Community Association area should bring their baskets to West Lutherville Park at 3 p.m.; refreshments will be served as well.

Residents of these communities may consult their fliers and newsletters for particulars on the hunts, including potential contributions to bring.

Please remember that these events are for the children and grandchildren of the residents of each community.

Brighten up your home and garden with flowers and plants from the annual Easter Flower Sale sponsored by the Lions Club of Cockeysville-Timonium, April 5-7.

The sale is held on the Yorkridge Shopping Center parking lot, behind the Shell Station at York and Ridgely roads. Proceeds are used for helping people who are in need with the cost of eye glasses and hearing aids.

"Small Can Make a Statement" that's the topic of the Thursday, April 5, meeting of the Lutherville Garden Club.

Karen Gahs, a landscape designer with TDH Landscaping, will discuss the role of small trees in the landscape.

The club meets the first Thursday of the month at 11 a.m. at Providence United Methodist Church, 1318 Providence Road. A business meeting is followed by luncheon and presentation.
