"They know a B Conference game is not an A Conference game," Calvert Hall coach Anthony Cammarata said. "The mentaility kind of drops."

Calvert Hall (4-2) received solid efforts from from Max Cassell (27 assists), Russell Coulter (7 kills), Ben Deaber (6 kills) and Tim Herpel (6 kills).
Calvert Hall jumped out to a 9-1 lead in Game 1, but the Lakers stormed back by going on a 16-8 run behind the serving of Glen Becker and Luke Kluttz to tie it.
The Cardinals, however, finished strong and prevailed on Ryan Keenan's block.
In Game 2, Boys' Latin (2-4) led 7-6 before Calvert Hall started to take control.
"We went after them and we were in the first two games," Boys Latin coach Drew Haugh said. "We were playing to win. Once were down two games, we wanted to get some kids some playing time."
