Dr. Oscar and Janet Stine
Former Lutherville residents Dr. Oscar C. and Janet B. Stine, now of Shepherdstown, W.Va., celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary with their family on Aug. 20, with a dinner at the Bavarian Inn, Shepherdstown.
The couple was married Aug. 18, 1951, in Rochester, N.Y.
Janet's sister, Audrey McIntosh, who served as her maid of honor at the wedding, and Audrey's family, also attended the anniversary celebration.
Those gathered then returned to Elmwood, the family farm, for conversation and a special cake made by daughter Nancy. They also sang love songs and favorite dance tunes, including "Stardust" and "I'll See You in My Dreams."
