The Perryville Panthers wrestling team split a pair of matchups, beating Bo Manor, 63-18, and losing, 47-23, to host Rising Sun in a tri-meet Dec. 20.
In their win over Bo Manor, the Panthers' first match victory came at 113 pounds, when Taylor DiMauro beat Preston Kist by pin fall at the 4:30 mark.
In the 120-pound bout, the Panthers' Chris Brown topped A.J. Jourdan by a 13-2 major decision.
Perryville's Joe Antoshak beat Bo Manor's Jacob Winward by a pin fall after 2:58 seconds in the 126-pound bout.
Perryville's 138-pounder Beau Miller topped opponent Stephen Carrigan with a pin at 1:17.
Amos Harlan earned a victory for Perryville at 145 pounds with a quick, 46-second pin in his bout with Bo Manor's Roberto Torres.
Perryville's Justyn Seamons then knocked off Malik Hathaway by a pin fall in 55 seconds at 152 pounds.
David Doring won at 170 pounds, beating Bo Manor's Jean Statler with a 1:55 pin fall, while Jake Ritter (182 pounds), Logan Kelly (220 pounds) and Ryan Figueroa (285 pounds) earned victories for the Panthers via forfeit.
Perryville's loss to Rising Sun began with Corbin Porch beating the Tigers' Ryan Maes at 106 pounds with a 50-second pin fall.
Perryville's Chris Brown won the 120-pound match by 9-1 major decision over Dylan Jackson, and Perryville's next victory came in the 132 pound contest, when Andrew Brown beat James Baranski in an 11-4 major decision.
Harlan won the 145-pound bout, beating Robert Rakes 14-6 at 145 pounds, and Doring took the 170-pound match by forfeit.
Aberdeen topped twice
The Aberdeen Eagles were beaten twice at the Dec. 20 tri-meet they hosted, losing 41-29 to C. Milton Wright, and 43-28 to Fallston.
Starting at 170 pounds in their match up with Fallston, the Eagles got a victory when Tyler Fletcher won by forfeit. Aberdeen's next win came at 195 pounds, with Tyler Theisen also winning via forfeit.
Aberdeen's Jasaan Beck won at 152 pounds, topping his Fallston opponent in a 14-6 major decision, while Josh Ringold (120 pounds) and Daniel Velez (126 pounds) both earned victories for the Eagles with forfeits.
The match up between Aberdeen and CMW saw Theisen win the first bout, beating the Mustangs' Mickey Glendon via 13-9 major decision at 195 pounds.
The Eagles' Travis Hubler won at 132 pounds, pinning Spencer Hellman in 1:07.
Aberdeen's Chris Banko pinned CMW's Gary Guzzo in a 10-2 major decision at 132 pounds.
Austin Smith won a 10-2 major decision over the Mustangs' Brian Jensen at 145 pounds.
