I can't complain one bit about starting off the season by getting seven out of nine picks correct. It wasn't a perfect week, but I'm still a little rusty. The only teams that let me down last week were the Warriors (shame on you, Havre de Grace) and C. Milton Wright (same to you, Mustangs). Hopefully this time around I've got the kinks worked out. Here is what we have coming up in week-two action:
Aberdeen at Joppatowne. I like how the Eagles are thinking, starting off the season with back-to-back Route 40 showdowns (they played Edgewood and won last Friday. The pick: Aberdeen wins, 38-12.
Perryville at North East. The Panthers marched over Rising Sun last week, and they will do the same to North East tonight. The pick: Perryville wins, 24-10.
Harford Tech at Havre de Grace. This is a tricky one. Both teams are coming off week-one losses and will be somewhat anxious not to fall into an 0-2 hole. The pick: Havre de Grace wins, 21-17.
Patterson Mill at Rising Sun. The pick: Patterson Mill wins, 30-21.
Fallston at Edgewood. The pick: Fallston wins, 28-24.
Elkton at Bel Air. The pick: Bel Air wins, 31-25.
North Harford at Albert Einstein. The pick: North Harford wins, 14-7.
C. Milton Wright at Western Tech. The pick: CMW wins, 17-16.
