Havre de Grace police arrested an Edgewood man Tuesday in connection with a July 4 armed robbery in the city.
Marquess Jermaine Gregory, 24, of the 1800 block of Simons Court, was arrested at 4:30 p.m. and charged with armed robbery, first-degree assault, use of a handgun in the commission of a felony and theft under $100.
Gregory is one of three men wanted in an armed robbery that took place on Independence Day, Julie Morgan, spokesperson for Havre de Grace police, said.
According to police, three men approached three teenagers in the 900 block of South Union Avenue, pulled out a semiautomatic handgun and ordered them to the ground.
They went through their pockets and stole a cellphone from one of the teens.
"This was while they put them on the ground and were holding a gun to his head," Morgan said.
Gregory is the only one who has been arrested in the case.
