A Havre de Grace man was charged with stealing more than $10,000 worth of goods from a clothing store on Market Street more than two weeks ago.

James DeHaven Jr., 22, with no fixed address, was found July 20 with 24 pairs of tennis shoes, 25 bottles of cologne, 120 Xbox games, an Xbox game system and various men's and women's clothing that he allegedly took from Exquisite Clothing, in the 100 block of Market Street in Havre de Grace, according to police charging documents.

The store owner told police she saw DeHaven in the 100 block of Wilson Street wearing the clothes, and he ran off when she tried to confront him.

The owners said the store had been broken into July 16.

DeHaven was charged with second- and fourth-degree burglary, theft between $10,000 and $100,000 and vandalism more than $500.

He was released Monday on $20,000 bail, according to state judiciary records.
