Congratulations to Allison and Tim Day on the birth of their son, William "Billy" Ambrose Day, on Wednesday, Feb. 26 at 10:55 p.m. Billy weighed in at 6 pounds and was 22 inches long. Material grandparents are Michael and Beverly Caldwell and maternal great-grandparents are Ben and Joyce Caldwell.

Harmony Lodge will have its all-you-can-eat breakfast Saturday from 7 to 10 .am. The lodge is at 1510 Tome Highway, Port Deposit. This event is open to the public. Benefits the Lodge Scholarship Fund.

Havre de Grace Elks Lodge is having a self-serve waffle breakfast on Sunday, March 30 from 8 to 11 a.m. $6 per person for waffles with various toppings, link sausage, juices and coffee.

Havre de Grace Chapter 27 Order of the Eastern Star held election of officers at its past meeting. Those elected for the 2014–2015 year were Susan Passwaters, Worthy Matron; J. Thomas McLaughlin, Worthy Patron; Joyce Caldwell, Secretary; Diane Smith, Treasurer; Pam Whitecavage-Kincaid, Conductress; Hilda Brown, Associate Conductress; and Roger and I, associate patron and associate matron.

A quarter auction will be held at the Perryville Volunteer Company, 920 Principio Road in Perryville, on Saturday. Doors open at 6 p.m., auction will begin at 7 p.m. Proceeds will benefit the Fire Prevention Ambassadors program. There will also be a variety of vendors attending for you to check out.
