Havre de Grace BP gas station robbed at gunpoint

Two men robbed a Havre de Grace gas station at gunpoint late Wednesday night, city police said.

The men entered BP gas station, in the 1000 block of Pulaski Highway, at about 10:50 p.m. and one of them brandished a handgun, Havre de Grace Police Department spokesman Jeff Gilpin said Thursday.

They went behind the counter, took some money and merchandise and fled on foot, he said.

No one was injured in the incident.

Both robbers wore masks, gloves and dark clothing, Gilpin said, making no suspect description available.

Gilpin said the first officer was on the scene within about 30 seconds, and police conducted a search of the immediate area, to no avail.

The investigation continues and police are reviewing surveillance footage, he said.
