The body of a Baldwin man missing since Oct. 5 was found in West Virginia on Oct. 21, according to Maryland State Police.
Michael Diffenderffer, 52, of the 12000 block of Fork Road, was reported missing by his wife on Oct. 5. She said he had left a note saying he would be home for dinner, but never returned.
On Oct. 21, West Virginia State Police reported they found the body of a man tentatively identified as Diffenderffer on Milo School Road in Morgan County after receiving a call from citizen who reported an abandoned vehicle on the property of a private hunting club.
West Virginia state troopers found the body of Diffenderffer in his 2005 Acura MDX, police said. There were no signs of foul play, police said.
