Marine Corps Lance Cpl. Christopher Trader, son of Gwen Trader, of Hydes, recently participated in Exercise African Lion held in Morocco, Africa, with members of his battalion.
This annual exercise brings together more than 900 members of the Royal Moroccan Armed forces and roughly 2, 000 U.S. service members from 16 locations throughout Europe and North America. African Lion is the United States' largest military engagement on the continent of Africa.
Trader is a 2009 graduate of Calvert Hall College High School.
