Baltimore City Department of Public Works offices will be closed on the Fourth of July, and there will be no trash or recycling collection on the holiday, officials said.
There should be no practical effect, however, because Mondays are not regular curbside trash and recycling collection days in the city.
All citizen dropoff centers and sanitation yards will be closed on the Fourth, including the Quarantine Road Landfill, Northwest Transfer Station and the eastern, western and northwestern sanitation yards.
Parking meters will not be in effect, officials said.
