Count birds in Laurel at the Big Sit!

Join in the Big Sit! and celebrate National Wildlife Refuge Week, Sunday, Oct. 9, 9 a.m.-2 p.m., at the National Wildlife Visitor Center, 10901 Scarlet Tanager Loop.

Chairs will be set up in a 17-foot diameter circle and volunteers will use binoculars to identify as many birds as they can.

No experience needed and no registration necessary.
