In the Halloween spirit, a Masquerade Tea (masks encouraged) will be held Sunday, Oct. 23 at 2:30 p.m., with live music by Zephyrs and Fauna, a recorder and harp ensemble. The menu for all teas includes finger sandwiches, pastries, buttery scones and a selection of fine quality teas. The fee for these tea events is $27.50 per person, and reservations are required.

The mansion will be the scene of an 18th-Century Pub and Games Night Saturday, Oct. 22 from 7 to 10 p.m. The event will feature beer tasting from a local microbrewery with beer on tap; live 18th-century tavern music; authentic pub games; and a complimentary Montpelier beer stein. Proceeds from the Pub and Games Night will benefit educational programming and collections care at the mansion. Admission is $45 for residents of Prince George's and Montgomery counties, and $50 for non-residents. Reservations and payment are required by Oct. 19.
