Faith Baptist Church will host a 270th anniversary presentation of Jonathan Edwards' sermon, "Sinners in the Hands of an Angry God," performed by the Rev. Dr. Paul Mathenia, of Faith Baptist, in period costume, Friday, July 8 at 7 p.m. at Deerfield Run Elementary School, 13000 Laurel Bowie Road.
The sermon helped shape the spiritual soul of the North American colonies and the First Great Awakening.
