Laurel college students earn degrees and distinctions

The following students from Laurel were named to the dean's list for the spring semester at Villanova University, in Pennsylvania: Kelly Holt, Spanish Studies, College of Liberal Arts and Sciences and Mika Rhabb, Communication, College of Liberal Arts and Sciences.
Alexander Pendleton, of Laurel, was named to the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences spring honor roll at the University of Kansas, in Lawrence. A graduate of the New Mexico Military Institute, he is a senor in biology.
Natasha Lawson, of Laurel, was named to the spring dean's list of the College of Arts and Sciences at Cornell University, in Ithaca, N.Y.
Jasmine Sims, of Laurel, received a Bachelor of Arts, cum laude, from Mary Baldwin College, in Staunton, Va. She was named to the dean's list for the spring semester.
Amanda Palmer, of Laurel, was named to second honors on the dean's list for the spring semester at Clark University, in Worcester, Mass.
Keith Townsend, of Laurel, graduated from DePaul University, in Chicago.
