This correspondence is written to express our support for incumbent Mayor Craig A. Moe. As sitting Council members, we want to be perfectly clear that this government with the current staff and Mayor Moe at the helm is extremely fiscally responsible. In view of the current recession, which has and is affecting the entire state and nation, Laurel stands strong as a direct result of his leadership.

In addition, his ongoing efforts to communicate with the citizens of Laurel are unsurpassed in that he uses all forms of media, from City Hall in the Park to Twitter, to keep the public informed. As we travel to various parts of the county and state and discuss issues with other municipal leaders, as council members we realize just how lucky we are to be living in such a community.

Please join us in supporting Mayor Moe and his staff by continuing to keep him steering the ship while rough waters surround us and Laurel remains steady in the water.
