The Howard County Public School System's Office of Early Childhood Programs and the Howard County Transition to Kindergarten Workgroup are hosting a series of workshops for Howard County parents with children who will be 5-years-old by Sept. 1, and entering kindergarten in the fall.
No registration is required, the sessions are free and child care for children (ages 2 and older) will be provided at some locations. Sessions are scheduled for Thursday, Jan. 19, 6:30-7:30 p.m., at Howard High School; Monday, Jan. 23, 9:30-10:30 a.m., at Wilde Lake High School; Wednesday, Jan. 25, 6:30-7:30 p.m., at River Hill High School; Wednesday, Feb. 1, 6:30-7:30 p.m., at Marriotts Ridge High School; and Monday, Feb. 6, 6:30-7:30 p.m., at Hammond Middle School.
