City and county government offices will be closed Monday, July 4 in observance of Independence Day.

There will be no county or city trash collection or curbside recycling collections in Laurel.

County collections will resume on the next regularly scheduled collection day.

City trash and recyclables normally collected on Monday will be collected on Tuesday, and Tuesday's collection will be made on Wednesday. There will be no special pickup on Wednesday, July 8.
