Photo exhibit — Hosted by Central Maryland Photographers Guild, opens Fri., June 17, 5 p.m., runs through July 15, Penn Camera, 352 Dormer Ave. Twenty-two photographs selected by outside judges span wide variety of subject areas, from wildlife to portrait photography. CMPG, a local photography group open to all members of community, meets once a month in Marriotsville.

Friday Flicks — Outdoor movie in the park, Fri., June 17, dusk (approximately 8 p.m.), Granville Gude Park and Lakehouse, 8300 Mulberry St. "Shrek Forever After" (PG). Montpelier summer concert series — Fri., June 24, 7:30-9:30 p.m., Montpelier Mansion grounds, 9652 Muirkirk Road at Route 197. Oracle Band playing classic hits from 40s to today. Learn about life in 1700s with hands-on activities; explore boxwood maze, flower and herb garden; free tours of mansion; and bring your own picnic (no inside eating facilities at Montpelier).
