Mike and Pam McDonagh, of Laurel, announce the engagement of their daughter, Michele McDonagh, to Marc Kimes, son of Mark Kimes, of Vienna, W.Va., and the late Marion "Cookie" Kimes.

The bride-to-be is a 2002 graduate of Atholton High School and graduated from West Virginia Wesleyan College in 2006 with a degree in graphic design. She is currently an account executive for Clear Channel Outdoor.

The future groom, a graduate of Parkersburg High School, graduated with a degree in accounting in 2007 from West Virginia Wesleyan College, where he earned a Master in Business Administration in 2009. He is an associate manger at Mariner Finance.

A November wedding is planned.
