WSSC's Potomac plant wins national award

The Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission's Potomac water filtration plant, which produces more than 100 million gallons of water daily, is the only facility in Maryland to receive the American Water Works Association's Partnership for Safe Water Phase III Directors Award for 2011.
