Tower Federal Credit Union named Large Business of the Year

Tower Federal Credit Union was named Large Business of the Year by the Baltimore Washington Corridor Chamber during the chamber's annual meeting April 26 at the Hotel at Arundel Preserve in Hanover. Freeman A. Hrabowski III, president of the University of Maryland Baltimore County and one of Time magazine's 2012 Top 100 Most Influential People, was keynote speaker at the event.

BWCC president and CEO Walt Townshend presented the Business of the Year award to Tower's senior vice president of marketing, Cyndy Scott, citing Tower's charitable work, commitment to financial education and literacy and community involvement.

Tower Federal Credit Union has been a part of the central Maryland business community for almost 60 years, and is now the largest federal credit union in Maryland.
