Laurel dentists Dr. Maurice Miles and Dr. Daniel Melnick are offering a discount to assist people who need dental care, and will be helping their community food pantry at the same time.

Miles and Melnick will be assisting people who lost dental coverage because of job loss by offering dental services at a discounted rate. For $75, patients will receive oral examinations, X-rays and dental cleanings, and all proceeds will go to Elizabeth House, a soup kitchen and pantry in Laurel.

The community discount will remain in effect until Sept. 30.
