The St. Michael's Men's Club will be collecting toys for children in the Appalachian area until Dec. 18. You can drop off new, unwrapped toys in the box located in the church's atrium.
St. Michael's will also be hosting Breakfast with Santa Saturday, Dec. 10 from 8 to 11 a.m. The cost is $6 for adults and $3 for children ages 5-10. The menu includes; scrambled eggs, pancakes, sausage, bacon, apple sauce and beverages. Children can also shop for gifts all prices less than $4 in the Secret Santa Shop.

The Marriotts Ridge High School Music Foundation will be hosting the 2011 Holiday Jazz Cabaret Dec. 20 at 7 p.m. at the high school. This entertaining evening will include songs performed by the Madrigals, women's ensemble and other choral groups as well as big band jazz.
Refreshments will also be served. Admission is $10 per person. The school is at 12100 Woodford Drive, on Route 99, in Marriottsville, just east of Route 32.
