Calvary Lutheran schedules German Christmas service

I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving and for those brave souls who shopped on Black Friday that they survived the experience.

The Calvary Lutheran Church will be holding its Christmas service in German Dec. 17 at 4 p.m. German Christmas carols will be sung and the Christmas gospel will also be in German. There will be a coffee hour after the service with German goodies. An offering is requested, which will go to benefit "Neighbors in Need." The church is at 16151 Old Frederick Road in Mount Airy.

I never knew exactly what they were because I was just a kid; but I can tell you that I have never tasted anything as good since those days of my childhood.
