This year, the Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, Venturing Crews, and Girl Scouts are working together to feed the hungry in Howard County. They will be collecting non-perishable food on April 21 and delivering to more than 30 food pantries in the County. A tan, Mars grocery store plastic bag will be dropped off at each home a few days before collection day, April 21. You can fill it with non-perishables and leave it by your front door or mailbox for pickup. Last year, the Scouts collected more than 87,000 pounds of food. What a huge help this must be to the food pantries! For more information, email to scoutingforfoodNPD@verizon.net.
