The following students, all first-year students at York College of Pennsylvania, in York, Pa., received academic scholarships from the College:
Allison Green, of Ellicott City, a nursing major and graduate of Howard High School, received the Dean's Scholarship;
Robert Wilson, of Mount Airy, an undeclared major and graduate of South Carroll High School, received the Dean's Scholarship;
Kelly Powell, of Mount Airy, an electrical engineering major and graduate of Urbana High School, received the Electrical and Computer Engineering Scholarship;
Benjamin Pinto, of Mount Airy, a biology major and graduate of Chapelgate Christian Academy, received the Presidential Scholarship;
Samuel Peksa, of Mount Airy, an engineering management major and graduate of South Carroll High School, received the Presidential Scholarship;
Ean Byers, of Sykesville, a mechanical engineering major and graduate of Liberty High School, received the Dean's Scholarship;
Jaclyn Davis, of Eldersburg, a nursing major and graduate of Liberty High School, received the Dean's Scholarship;
Shane Conard, of Eldersburg, a music major and graduate of Century High School, received the Dean's Scholarship; and
Michele Taylor, of West Friendship, a nursing major and graduate of Chapelgate Christian Academy, received the Presidential Scholarship.
