Cable Advisory Committee — Seeking applicants interested in serving a five-year term on the committee, which provides recommendations to the county executive and County Council on all matters related to the Howard County cable system and its facilities. Candidates must be county residents, 18 or older, have an interest in cable and be able to attend the committee's meetings, which are held quarterly on the second Wednesday in March, June, September and December, at 7 p.m., in the George Howard Building, in Ellicott City. Additional meetings may be called for by the committee chairperson when, in his or her opinion, it is important to consider a matter immediately. Meetings are open to the public and become a matter of public record.
