How will county make up money given to developers?

I read that the proposal to subsidize the property taxes of developers and others who "build green" has passed. However, our community newspaper has never reported on how the shortfall in county income will be made up.

Thanks for pointing out that we taxpayers have already coughed up half a million bucks to developers. I would also like to know why our council thought it was OK for we property tax payers to subsidize commercial developers with said half a million dollars.

Lastly, I would also like to know why our County Council feels, in these tough economic times, they have carte blanche with our tax dollars. I know we are a one-party state, but it's time our one party starts to be accountable for their actions, and I am hoping my community newspaper will start asking these tough questions and reporting the responses.
