Good to see common sense prevail as Turner drops bill

So glad to see Del. Frank Turner drop the hybrid-school-board proposal. I have been following this issue for the past several weeks and could not figure out why our elected officials would want to take a great working school board from the finest school district in the state and start making drastic changes.

We have nine grandkids in the Howard County school system and have a vested interest in having a balanced elected school board without gerrymandering from County Executive Ken Ulman and Del. Frank Turner. We are so glad that we live in a county where common sense won out over political correctness.
