Hammond senior Bryan Overton brings a 36-3 record into this weekend's state wrestling tournament at the University of Maryland. After winning 42 matches last year, placing third in the county and placing fourth at the state tournament, Overton has taken the next step as a senior.
He hasn't lost in more than a month, including his first county and regional championships.
After defeating Stephen Decatur's Andrew Boradaille for the regional title at Wilde Lake last weekend, Overton took a 30-second timeout with us.
