The men's basketball team starts Region XX tournament play Thursday, March 1 as the ninth seed. The Dragons will square off with CCBC-Catonsville at 7 p.m. The winner will advance to play top-seeded Cecil the following day at Hagerstown Community College.
The men's lacrosse team opened its season under first-year coach Ken Senisi at Suffolk Community College with a 12-11 loss in overtime. Even in the loss, though, the Dragons showed some fight by coming back from a four-goal deficit late to force the extra period.
After a week off, the team will be back in action at home against Navy Prep Sunday, March 4 at 1 p.m.
The season for the women's lacrosse team doesn't officially begin until March 13 against CCBC-Essex. In the meantime, first-year coach Diana Carrey's squad has been getting valuable experience with scrimmages against local club teams.
