Students showcase creative work

Gifted and talented students in the Howard County Public School System will present projects from their time in the G/T Summer Institutes for Talented Development in a Student Showcase Friday, July 8 at 11:30 a.m. at Oakland Mills Middle School in Columbia.

Parents, friends and the community are welcome to visit various classrooms to see art exhibits, film productions, engineering demonstrations and readings of students' original creative writing.

The summer institute classes offer summer educational experiences for students to explore their creativity and problem-solving skills.

Guests are encouraged to park at the Oakland Mills Interfaith Center at 5885 Robert Oliver Place.
