Police are looking for suspects in a drive-by shooting in Columbia over the weekend.
A 39-year-old woman and her eight-year-old daughter were sleeping in their home, in the 5700 block of Cedar Lane, when shots were fired at about 2 a.m. on Saturday, July 23. Neither were injured.
A third resident, an 18-year-old male, was not present during the shooting.
Police believe whoever is responsible for the shooting targeted the residence, firing multiple shots at the back of the home. Police said they are still working to determine a motive.
Police have increased patrols in the vicinity and area asking anyone with information to call 410-313-STOP. Callers may remain anonymous.
