The county is holding its annual Fourth of July festival and fireworks display Monday, July 4 from 5 to 10 p.m. at the Downtown Columbia Lakefront.
The festival, which will be the fourth held by the county in partnership with the Columbia Association, will kick off with children's entertainment, carnival games, crafts and vendors.
At 7:30 p.m., the band "Cruise" will perform on the main stage. The fireworks are slated to begin at 9:30 p.m.
If it rains, the fireworks only will be rescheduled for Tuesday, July 5 at 9:30 p.m. For postponement information, call 410-313-4451 the day of the event.
