A Columbia man remains in the hospital after being shot Jan. 11 in Oakland Mills.
Marcus Lee, 20, is listed in stable condition at the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore, according to Sherry Llewellyn, spokeswoman for the Howard County Police Department.
Police were called at about 8:30 p.m. to Sam's Mart in the 5800 block of Stevens Forest Road. Lee told officers he was shot on Stevens Forest Road near Whiteacre Road; then ran to the nearby convenience store for help, Llewellyn said.
Detectives are investigating possible suspects and a motive for the shooting, but believe Lee and the shooter might be acquaintances, Llewellyn said.
