Howard County State's Attorney Dario J. Broccolino was elected president of the Maryland State's Attorney's Association last week during the group's summer conference.
As president of the group, Broccolino will serve as a liaison between Maryland's state's attorneys and government and law enforcement agencies on the local, state and federal levels. He will also be responsible for the business affairs of the association.
The MDSAA advocates for the ethical administration of justice in Maryland and provides continuing education services to state's attorney offices throughout Maryland
Broccolino has served as Howard County State's Attorney since December 2007. He began his career as an assistant state's attorney in Baltimore in 1971 and started working in the Howard County office as a deputy state's attorney in 1999.
