Let's not get carried away here.

As I feared, it's pretty easy to get sucked into exploring everyone else pages and noticing mutual friends and otherwise tinkering until you've spent hours in front of the monitor. That's one of the reasons I've shunned the wildly popular social networking site until now.

What changed my mind is the realization that Facebook will be a more effective vehicle for promoting my musical activities than the band websites I've slapped together in the past.

I have a lot to learn, so if you find my page, or the band page (Replaced By Robots), just remember that they're works in progress.
