People waiting for cab on Stevens Forest Road robbed at gunpoint

East Columbia

Sheerock Court, 5600 block, 8:39 p.m. Aug. 8. Entry attempted by tampering with door.

Majors Lane, 6100 block, between 12:01 and 5:30 a.m. Aug. 8. Entry gained through unsecured sliding glass door. Purse stolen. Keys used to unlock vehicle. Cash stolen from car.

Majors Lane, 6000 block, between 6 p.m. Aug. 7 and 9:55 a.m. Aug. 8. Black 2009 Suzuki DRZ400 stolen.

Majors Lane, 6000 block, between 9 p.m. Aug. 4 and 8 p.m. Aug. 8. Entry gained by breaking side window. Purses and video game system stolen.

Tamar Drive, 6300 block, between 7:30 p.m. Aug. 7 and 9 a.m. Aug. 8. Entry gained. Jewelry and laptop stolen.

Grapewine Court, 9200 block, 2:54 p.m. Aug. 7. Entry attempted by prying garage door. No entry gained.

Pinecone Row, 9400 block, 8:35 a.m. Aug. 7. Entry gained to unsecured vehicle in driveway. Garage door opener used to open garage. Three bicycles stolen but two left in yard.

Humblebee Road, 5800 block, between 11:30 p.m. Aug. 6 and 12:12 a.m. Aug. 7. Entry gained through unsecured window. Nothing stolen.

Broken Land Parkway/Route 32, 10:57 p.m. Aug. 5. 1973 Ford pick-up stolen.

Quarry Bridge Court, 9500 block, 1:54 p.m. Aug. 5. Red 2004 Honda CRX 250 dirt bike stolen.

Stevens Forest Road, 5800 block, 5:14 a.m. Aug. 3. Victims were waiting for a cab when two men approached, showed guns and assaulted them. Cell phones and cash stolen. One man discharged weapon in unknown direction.

Cradlerock Way, 7100 block, 4:33 a.m. Aug. 3. Entry attempted to Owen Brown Wine & Spirits by breaking front glass door. Alarm activated. No entry gained.

Guilford Road, 8600 block, 2:29 a.m. Aug. 3. Entry gained to Subway by breaking front glass door. Alarm activated.

Log Chain Road, 9200 block, between 4 a.m. July 22 and 1 p.m. Aug. 7. Entry attempted by prying garage door. No entry gained.

West Columbia

Durham Road East, 5100 block, 4:55 p.m. Aug. 7. Entry gained by breaking rear sliding glass door. Jar of coins stolen.

Columbia Road, 4900 block, 9:16 p.m. Aug. 6. Entry gained. Television stolen.

Little Patuxent Parkway, 10300 block, 9:15 p.m. Aug. 6. Two victims approached by four men as they were crossing footbridge from Lake Kittamaqundi to Stevens Forest. Cash stolen.

Brighton Ridge Way, 10200 block, 12:14 p.m. Aug. 6. Entry gained to garage. Bicycle stolen.

Columbia Road, 5600 block, 11:11 a.m. Aug. 6. Entry attempted by prying front door. No entry gained.

Hickory Ridge Road, 10700 block, between 6 and 8 p.m. Aug. 5. Entry gained. Video game system, mp3 layer, video games and CDs stolen.

Daystar Court, 10300 block, between Aug. 1 and Aug. 3. Entry gained by breaking window. Television, pots and pans and refrigerator stolen.
