Police investigating possible link between two East Columbia crimes

Whiteacre Road, 9600 block, 4:31 a.m. July 19. Man observed in Verona Apartments Complex laundry room without authorization. Man arrested.

Washington Boulevard, 9000 block, 8:51 p.m. July 18. Silver 2005 Nissan Altima stolen.

McGaw Road, 8800 block, between 2 p.m. July 15 and 7 a.m. July 18. Entry gained to Wegman's construction site. Lock to storage container cut.

Gentle Shade, 7000 block, between 12:15 and 1:15 p.m. July 17. Black, white and red 1994 Honda CBR 1000F stolen.

Indian Camp Road, 9300 block, between 12:01 and 1:43 a.m. July 16. Vehicle theft attempted.

Wild Bees Court, 9300 block, 12:19 p.m. July 15. Entry gained by breaking window. Television, laptop, jewelry and backpack stolen. Stolen items recovered on nearby path. Police investigating as possibly related to Creekbed Court breaking and entering attempt on the same day.

Creekbed Court, 9200 block, 10:38 a.m. July 15. Entry attempted. Victim confronted man, who fled on bicycle and was later arrested.

Rain Flower Way, 7500 block, between 7:30 a.m. and 8:20 p.m. July 14. Black and gray 1997 Dodge Ram/Tk stolen.

Hayshed Lane, 8600 block, 8:30 p.m. July 12. Entry attempted by prying rear door and window. No entry gained.

West Columbia

Hickory Ridge Road, 10300 block, 9:02 p.m. July 18. Man riding bicycle grabbed phone from victim walking in opposite direction.

Wyndham Circle, 5800 block, between 4:30 p.m. July 14 and 11 a.m. July 15. Entry attempted by tampering with lock. No entry gained.

Little Patuxent Parkway, 11600 block, between 9 p.m. July 14 and 6:50 a.m. July 15. Entry gained to Clary's Forest Pool. Nothing stolen.

Little Patuxent Parkway, 11300 block, 8:24 p.m. July 12. Motorcycle stolen.
