Claudia and Brian Salter, of Columbia, announce the birth of their son, Gavin Luke Salter, on May 19, 2011, at 6:47 a.m. He weighed 6 pounds, 8 ounces. His brothers are Jacob and Samuel. His grandparents are Harry and Donna Joe, of Fresno, Calif.; and Charles and Carlota Salter, of New Market.
