Columbia resident Charles Lawrence Sr. wins prestigious pharmacy award

Charles Lawrence Sr., a 40-year resident of Columbia, retired from the Washington Department of Corrections as chief pharmacist. He now works for the National Commission on Correctional Health Care. Lawrence was selected as the Washington area 2011 recipient of the Bowl of Hygeia Award, recognized as the single most prestigious award within the profession of pharmacy.
