HAMPSTEAD — The Shiloh Middle School History Club will host a Never Forget 5k and 1-mile fun run and walk Sunday, Sept. 11 in commemoration of the 10th anniversary of the terrorist attacks.
The event will be held at North Carroll High School, Panther Drive, Hampstead, and is open to students and families of Carroll County Public Schools.
Registration the day of the race will take place from 7:30 to 8:45 a.m. and the races will begin at 9 a.m.
Registration for the 5k race prior to the event is $25 and $30 on race day.
For the 1-mile walk and fun run, adults are $20 prior to race day and $25 the day of the event. Registration for children 12 and younger is $15. T-shirts will be guaranteed to all who registered before race day.
Proceeds from the event will go to the World Trade Center Tribute Center, the Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers Foundation, the Fire Department of the City of New York Brotherhood Foundation, FDNY Rescue 1 and the Hampstead Volunteer Fire Company.
