Baltimore County police are asking for the public's help in finding a 63-year-old woman missing from an assisted living facility in the Westowne community of Catonsville.

Police said Madeline Chavis left the facility at 601 Aldershot Road between 12:30 p.m. and 1 p.m. today.

Police described Chavis as a black female, 5-foot-5, 150 pounds, with brown eyes and black curly hair.

She was last seen wearing a navy shirt, denim jeans and a gray coat, police said.
