Homicide detectives with the Baltimore County Police Department are continuing their investigation after an 18-year-old Catonsville man was found shot early Sunday morning on a Catonsville hotel parking lot.
County police found the man in the lot behind the Ramada Limited at 6422 Baltimore National Pike, according to a release from Baltimore County police.
Police had been called to the hotel at 1:33 a.m. Aug. 19 for a fight, according to the release.
"When officers responded, they found a large crowd of people on the parking lot in the back of the hotel," said Office. Shawn Vinson, a police spokesman, on Sunday.
Police found the victim, who has been identified as Kelvin Glasgow, 18, of the unit block of Winters Lane, suffering from a gunshot wound, according to the release.
He was pronounced dead at the scene by medical personnel, according to the release.
Vinson said no other information was available, as of Sunday evening.
Charles Herndon, a spokesman for Baltimore County Public Schools, said Glasgow withdrew from evening high school in January 2011 and had previously attended Catonsville High School.
