Baltimore County Police announced Friday they have arrested two men after the Sept. 27 shooting of a 23-year-old man in Catonsville.
Marco Patrick Morra, 18, of Catonsville, and Ryan Matthew Young, 20, of Gwynn Oak, were charged with attempted first-degree murder and related charges, according to police.
The victim met Morra and Young at a wooded area near Geipe Road and North Rolling Road and was shot in the upper body, the police said.
Police responded just before 4 p.m. and found the victim suffering from at least one gunshot wound. He was taken to the hospital in critical condition.
Police believe the victim was targeted but could not comment as to why, as the incident remains under investigation.
There is no update on the victim's condition.
Morra was arrested Sept. 28, while Young was arrested Sept. 30. They are being held in the county jail.
A preliminary hearing for Morra and Young is scheduled for Oct. 28.
Jason Shapiro, attorney listed for Morra, could not be reached immediately for comment.
No attorney information is listed for Young in this case.
